This year’s event is expected to feature organizational updates and plans, the presentation of the Lynn M. Budnick Empowered Woman Award, and the story of a former shelter resident. The event will also offer information about the shelter’s role in helping homeless women and the services offered at the agency, including case management, on-site health care, and job readiness training.

"The programs and services we offer at Access aim to teach women and their children that their journeys with us are just a beginning,” said Access Executive Director Jackie Hemsworth in a release. “With community support, especially during these stressful times, we educate our clients about self-confidence and empower them to reach independence and self-sufficiency.”
